The voms-proxy-init command fails when it worked before

CERN made a change in the gLite servers that could be the cause of the problems. The solution to this is to fix the variable VO_ATLAS_VOMSES in the gLite's site-info.def file; please see this link for an example. Then reconfigure it with yaim as described in the link. When you next login, it should be working again.
