---++ Testing the configuration %BR%%BR%%BR%%BR%%BR% %X% *WARNING:* This page is obsolete. %BR%%BR%%BR%%BR%%BR% There is a script to test that your environment is correctly setup for the tutorial. Before you run this, you should know the paths to setting up gLite (if needed) as well as DQ2 Client tools. (If [[InstallAtlasSoftware][ATLASLocalRootBase]] is installed, or if it runs at CERN, the script is aware of the paths to the setup scripts.) Login and do the following to fetch the script: <verbatim> mkdir ~/workshopSetup cd ~/workshopSetup cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.atlas-canada.ca:/atlas/cvs/cvs/atlasCanada checkout userSupport/TutorialSetup/2008-Americas</verbatim> Then run the script (you must be using bash or zsh shells, not c-shell variants): <verbatim> source ~/workshopSetup/userSupport/TutorialSetup/2008-Americas/checkTutorialSetup.sh</verbatim> (You can type --help to see all the options to the script.) The script groups several tests into steps generating summary outputs with status of either [ %GREEN%OK%ENDCOLOR% ] or [%RED%FAILED%ENDCOLOR%] and and will stop for the latter case. You can then resume the test at the last point of failure with the --startStep= option. -- Main.AsokaDeSilva - 23 May 2008
