ADC and ATLAS Computing News [20160412]
- ADC Technical Coordination Meeting [20160411]
  - Meant to be an extension of the Tuesday operations meeting
  - Focus on development and coordination of various projects
    - Short presentations (5 mins, 2 slies)
    - Establish timelines and communication
  - Minutes are live, in google docs: Minutes
  - Covered PanDA, DeFT, DDM/Rucio, APF, Analytics, AMI, Pilot, Event Service, Event Index
- ADC Weekly meeting
- MC Production
  - Grid at about 200k runnings slots, mostly digi+reco and sim
  - MC15c reprocessing status
    - Submitted ~90 production requests with common background samples for CP group
      - About 5k tasks, half done
    - Still about 60 physics signal requests to submit
- Derivations
  - Built 20.7.5.3 on Friday - first main production cache for mc15c and 20.7.x
  - Data
    - 69 derivations, about 440TB output estimated
  - MC15c
    - 43 derivations will be submitted in bulk, about 600TB output estimated
    - 6 subcategories: Z+jets, W+jets, Gamma+X, Top, multijets, multibosons)

- Reprocessing
  - Heavy Ion reprocessing launched [see details]

    - Target - end of May
- Fast HLT Reprocessing for first stable collisions
  - Collect EnhancedBias data (EB) (~1M events) and run fast reprocessing to feed into HLT so can enable
  - Need to coordinate with DAQ, Tier-0, DDM and Prodsys2 to ensure goes through rapidly
  - Test with quiet beam this week and solidify strategy
- CRC/ADCoS report
  - Cleaning up dark data based on monthly dumps - cleaned up 3PB
  - Disk partition filled up on some pilot factories
  - Rucio-ui affected after adding load-balancer
  - Panda server certificate expired preventing panda to consume Rucio messages (increasing assigned jobs)
- ADC Reorganization
  - ADC Coordinator: Andrej Filipcic
  - ADC Deputy Coordinators: Alessandro Di Girolamo, Nurcan Ozturk
  - Add 9 Activities, 2 coordinators for each, 1 year appointment (in Glance)
