ADC and ATLAS Computing News [20160216]
- ADC Weekly meeting
- Scaling up large scale BNL tests of EC2/AWS
  - To be run next week
  - Up to 100k cores (specially funded project)

- MC Production
  - More evgen jobs last week. Grid pretty full
  - MC15c (digi+reco reprocessing)
    - Waiting for new release (20.7.5.1) to be signed off by physics validation
    - Serious tracking problem in 20.7.4.1
  - Options used in r-tag are begin check in a JIRA ticket: https://its.cern.ch/jira/browse/ATLMCPROD-2733
  - All tags used in MC15c will be summarized: https://twiki.cern.ch/twiki/bin/viewauth/AtlasProtected/AtlasProductionGroupMC15c
  - Preparing 13TeV Overlay samples
    - Skim pp ZeroBias data for overlay
    - Staging to CERN DATADISK already done
- Derivations
  - Muon train still in open-ended mode whereas other groups still validating
  - Build a "validation cache" this week and a "production cache" next week
  - Progress on running MC15c+derivations simultaneously for the common background samples across the groups
    - Agreed with the PMG and MC teams on the following 6 categories for those samples:
    - Single Z samples, Single W samples, Multibosons, Top samples, Multijets samples, Gamma(gamma)+X
    - Groups will finalize their default list of derivations to run on these samples
    - MC15c samples will be submitted based on these categories (don't mix categories in trains)
