• ADC and ATLAS Computing News [20140826]
  • ADC Weekly meeting
  • ProdSys2 - MC Production
    • Issue found in missing parameter for pileup - fixed, needs testing
    • Need to add capability to produce subset of ESD, RDO
    • Need a fix for tags with tow transforms for Fast Sim and FTK
    • Sample A test submitted but digi+reco had issues with output; resubmit
    • Would like shifters to help monitor tasks, open tickets, etc
  • Data Reprocessing

    • Numerous slice tests in DC14 and fixes being applied

      • Some delays waiting for release replication in CVMFS
      • Typo (JetTauEtMiss instead of JetTauEtmiss (“M” vs “m”)) caused some issues as not all tools are case insensitive
        • Should be consistent behaviour and correct errors reported
      • Merging tasks will be submitted soon, special runs and Z skims will follow
    • 2010 HI peripheral events
      • 3rd attempt to reprocess
        • Merged eventless files processed correctly, but marked as failed due to the ERRORs in the log file
    • Awaiting feedback from egamma group before launch DRAW_ZEE
    • 2013 HI being prepared (rel 17.2)
  • AMOD/ADCoS Report
    • Had a reduction of production jobs on grid (down to 40k) but recovered
    • Some deletion service issues
    • Full tokens (T1 SCRATCHDISK)
  • DAST:
    • Relatively smooth transition to JEDI for user analysis
    • Question on controlling the retries - users request to have more control in case of failures, broken sites, etc.
