ADC and ATLAS Computing News [20140520]
- ADC Weekly meeting
- Rucio Migration
  - NDGF cloud migrated last week
  - CERN endpoints migrated this week
    - The deletion service will be switched back on today or tomorrow
  - ATLAS does not use CERN LFC anymore; only rare accesses from from special hosts/users
    - DDM ops will contact the users and host responsibles
    - LFC frontend nodes will be switched off next week and decommissioned after one month
    - LFC database can then be backed up and removed from production
  - US Sites
    - Lucille migrated
    - AGLT2 migrated yesterday – Many dark files identified
    - No US site uses pandamover anymore; all input data are maintained by PanDA + DQ2
    - Can rely on the dataset information in DQ2 and migrate from LFC to Rucio
    - Some cleaning still needed (files unknown to DQ2) before migrating entries from LFC to Rucio
    - T3 GridFTP-only sites - No real migration needed; catalog will be simply switched from LFC to Rucio
  - Rucio stress test - starts today
    - Still developing DDM3 dashboard for Rucio - hopefully ready next week
- MC Production
  - Received the "medium-large" request - 160M fullsim events which should fill the grid ~ week.
  - Still expecting larger W-mass request (400M) and DC14.
