ADC and ATLAS Computing News [20140408]
- ADC Weekly meeting

- Rucio Migration
  - Mail to sites not to run consistency checks
  - FZK this week
  - Concentrate on exercising the full chain (create, insert, monitor, delete, etc)
- MC Production
  - DC14/mc14 running at 4k jobs (4M events/day) multicore, 3M singlecore
  - Getting close to end of DC14 8TeV simulation (400M+ events done, 84M to go)
  - Rerunning AFII B-physics affected by bug due to splitting large samples into smaller tasks that led to input HITS being deleted too early
  - ran some single core jobs on mcore resources (corecount field set to "None" accidentally in PandaQueue form)
  - Plans
    - Ready to run MC14 ‘pre-production’ 17.3.X.Y digi+reco (around 90M events) - probably multicore
    - MC14 8TeV sim - 84M events to go
    - MC14 8TeV digi+reco - needs rel 19 and validation; multicore; ready in 3-4 weeks?
    - MC14 13TeV sim (200M events) in preparation; multicore; ready in 3-4 weeks
    - Other smaller productions (upgrade samples, BCH issue (dead Tile CAL modules))
    - Might run out of jobs in a couple of weeks? PC advised and advertise to physics groups.
- NTUP_COMMON v2 production
  - Launched this weekend
  - Fixed memory leaks
  - Don't split jobs to preserve lumiblocks boundaries --> Long running jobs
  - Replication: 1 primary copy T2DISK, 1 copy on T1TAPE
  - Estimate 400TB data12, 246TB MC
- AMOD/ADCOS Report
  - Some shifts not covered
  - Rucio migration done for NL and IT T1, DE T2s
