EMI-UI3 Testing Known Issues

WARNING: This page is obsolete.

SL6 version is available.

Sites are stronly encouraged to migrate to SL6 because SL5 support is uncertain at this point.

Known Issues

voms-proxy-init

Fails on CernVM3 but works on SL/SLC 6.

Temporary workaround in a separate terminal session: arcproxy --voms atlas

Additional comments: This may not be reproducible ... I moved my cvmfs cache area to another partition (and larger cache) and it went away. In case you want to try it, create /etc/cvmfs/default.local containing your local settings; e.g you can append or insert your nearest local squid to the CVMFS_HTTP_PROXY setting as well:

CVMFS_CACHE_BASE=<new partition area with more than 12G for cache>
CVMFS_HTTP_PROXY="http://cernvm-webfs.atlas-canada.ca:3128;DIRECT"
CVMFS_QUOTA_LIMIT=10000

and then reboot.

gridCert

gridCert is not working correctly; e.g. it should fail below and not fail-over:
